About Me
I’ve been working freelance in different media fields for the past 30 years. Radio monitor, Magazine correspondent, Newspaper graphic designer, TV producer assistance and editor. For the past 8 year I worked in the UK and abroad as a documentary producer, cameraman/DOP and Steadicam operator. I own an Archer2 steadicam and have worked on and am very proficient on the following cameras: Canon 5d mark11, Panasonic P2 and Sony PMW F3, Sony PMW F5, Sony A7sii, Canon C300ii/iii Arri Amira. My work has taken me to many countries all over six continents where I have successfully been able to produce different styles of films.

Steadicam operator, Freelance
As a Steadicam operator I effectively filmed a wide range of digital products for clientele around the world, shooting live events, films of various genres as well as documentaries. With a wealth of experience in operating various camera rigs and set-ups I have been able to master the craft of what it means to be a Steadicam operator delivering high quality projects.

Documentary producer, Camera Operator and DOP NoonFilms
NoonFilms specialises in producing documentaries covering a wide range of subjects matters and having been there since 2011 I have successfully been behind the turnaround of over a hundred documentaries with some being recognised by the world’s biggest film screening and awarding bodies. From having to constantly meet tight deadlines and adapting to changing genres in new international locations where the hurdles of being foreign are already at play has enabled me to become even more resilient ensuring the timely and strategic delivery of projects.
I also have a lot of experience working alone on different projects (producing, lighting, shooting and sound), which has made me extremely adaptable to different situations.

Tour Logistics Manager, Dome Tours
I managed Hajj delegations of 300 people every year. This gave me the opportunity to learn how to manage large numbers of people in large and difficult crowds of millions. I was in charge of the logistics of traveling to Saudi Arabia from the UK, transporting between airports and hotels, housing, feeding, and security.

Worked with the editor to design graphics for the articles as well as forming the layout of the daily newspaper.

Newspaper Correspondent, Al-Sahwa newspaper of Yemen
Researched and wrote a weekly feature in a newspaper.
